1S. Dioscorides, (11. al. 10. Mai), ein Martyrer aus Smyrna gebürtig, welcher, nachdem er Viele zum christlichen Glauben bekehrt, gefangen genommen und endlich, als er in seinem Bekenntnisse standhaft blieb, getödtet wurde. Seiner wird im Mart. Rom. am 10. Mai Erwähnung gethan.
