Dec.), ein Capuciner, welcher zu Fabriano in der Mark Ancona in Italien um das J. 1591 lebte und durch prophetischen Geist, durch verschiedene Erscheinungen und ausgezeichnete Tugenden, insbesondere aber durch einen so hohen Grad der Beherrschung und Züchtigung seines Blickes sich auszeichnete, daß er den Namen P. Guardabasso, d. i. »Bodenblicker«, oder »der zu Boden Blickende« erhielt. (Hub. Men.)
