1Godwinus, (15. April), anfänglich ein Benedictiner, dann Cistercienser in Clairvaux unter dem hl. Bernardus, der ihn so lieb gewann, daß er ihn seinen »heiligen Sohn« nannte. Bucelin führt ihn mit Andern unter den »Seligen« auf; Andere grben ihm den Titel »heilig«; die Bollandisten übergehen ihn. Vgl. Goswinus5. (II. 370)
