SS. Acius (Achius) et Acheolus, MM. (1. al. 4. Mai). Die hhl. Acius und Acheolus, deren Lebensgeschichte uns unbekannt ist, scheinen zu Amiens um das Jahr 290 den Martertod erlitten zu haben. Wenn aber Saussejus, einer der Bearbeiter des Lebens der Heiligen, Recht hat, so erfolgte ihr Martertod zu Carpentras und geschah in der Folge eine Uebertragung ihrer hl. Leiber von da nach Amiens. Das Fest dieser hhl. Martyrer findet sich im röm. Martyrologium, das dem hl. Hieronymus zugeschrieben wird, auf den 1. Mai angegeben, ebenso in allen gall. Martyrologien; nur in Amiens wird es am 4. Mai gefeiert. Der größte Theil ihrer Reliquien findet sich zu Amiens in der Kirche, die ihren Namen trägt; einige Theile jedoch werden in, S. Quentin und Albeville aufbewahrt.
