Leobatius, S.

S. Leobatius, (28. Juli), auch Leobacius, Leobarius, Leubarius, Leubatius, Leopatius und Leupatius, frz. St-Libesse, Loubace und Lubais, war vom hl. Ursus zum Propft von Senevière (Senaparia) im Bezirke von Tours ernannt worden. Nach bes hl. Ursus Tod wurde er Abt dieses Klosters und nach seinem im J. 510 erfolgten Tode daselbst begraben. Er wird hier und auch zu Beaulieu, einer kleinen Stadt und Abtei am Indre verehrt. S. S. Ursus. (VI. 563).
