1S. Maurelius, Ep. Conf. (6. Mai). Dieser hl. Maurelius war der dritte Bischof von Imola (Forum Cornelii) in der Aemilia. Ueber sein Leben und Wirken sind keine Nachrichten vorhanden. Die Boll. nehmen das J. 812 als beiläufige Todeszeit an, während Andere, unter welchen Ughellus (II. 623), das J. 532 nennen. In einigen Kalendarien auch bei Ughellus, wird er Martyrer genannt. Sein Leib ruht in der Kathedrale des heil. Cassian zu Imola mit den Reliquien des hl. Projectus unter dem Hochaltare. (II. 106).
