1S. Melanus, Bischof von Viviers, ist bei Hefele (Concil-Gesch. II. 60) genannt. Wann er gefeiert wird, wissen wir nicht. Bei Migne (Anh.) heißt er Melancy. Näheres ist auch hier nicht angegeben. Er lebte, wie wir aus Hefele (l. c.) schließen, um d.J. 394.
