4S. Mocius, Abb. Der Tag, an welchem dieser hl. Abt verehrt wird, ist uns nicht bekannt. Sein eigentlicher Name ist Daocus oder Dajocus, – der Name Mocius nur ein Fehler der Abschreiber. Da wir ihn im H.-L. noch nicht eingereiht haben, wollen wir ihn lieber hier, als gar nicht nennen. Er lebte um d.J. 1000 und war anfänglich Abt von Ruy und hernach erster Abt von St. Gildas. (Gall. chr. II. 155).
