42Nicolaus Fagan (8. März), Mönch und ernannter Bischof von Waterford in Irland. Nachdem er Abt geworden, zeigte er sich als unermüdlichen Vorkämpfer der katholischen Religion gegen die Irrlehrer in seiner Umgebung, bei deren Bekämpfung er selbst Lebensgefahr ausstand. Er starb im Geruche der Heiligkeit im J. 1617 unb wurde durch Wunder vom Herrn verherrlichet. (Buc.)
