S. Rothadus (Hothardus), Ep. Conf. (14. Oct.). Der hl. Rothadus, Bischof von Cambrai und Arras, der 20. in der Reihenfolge (Gall. chr.), steht bei den Boll. unter den Uebergangenen. Er leitete das Bisthum in sehr bedrängter und unruhiger Zeit vom J. 879 bis 886. Seine Reliquien, welche längere Zeit bei St. Aubert ruhten, wurden unter Otto I. nach Magdeburg in die von diesem Kaiser neu erbaute Domkirche gebracht. (VI. 399.)
