1S. Theodulus Presbyter et Soc. M. M. (14. Jan.). Die hhl. Theodulus, der ein Priester war, so wie Paulus3, Johannes4, Marcus5, Proclus1, Hypatius1, Isaac1, Macarius4, Benjamin3, Elias2 und mehrere andere Mönche erlitten auf dem Berge Sinai durch die Saracenen (Blemier) den Martyrtod (vgl. Baron. notae). Die Reliquien dieser Heiligen sollen später nach Rom gebracht worden sein. Piazza weiß davon nichts, und das Mart. Rom. zum 14. Jan. spricht nur im Allgemeinen von 38 auf dem Berge Sinai gemarterten Mönchen. Guerin setzt die Jahrzahl 373 und glaubt, daß die obengenannten von den im Mart. Rom. erwähnten Mönchen unterschieden werden müssen. (I. 953.)
