162Thomas (31. Dec.), ein Mönch in Monte-Froid (Mons frigidus) in Frankreich, war von Geburt ein Engländer und von Kindheit an ein treuer Anhänger des hl. Bischofs und Martyrers Thomas Beket, den er auch in die Verbannung begleitete. Mit seiner großen Gelehrsamkeit verband er einen hl. Wandel. Seine Schwester war die sel. Margaretha mit dem Beinamen Hierosolymitana, welche selbst sein Leben ausführlich beschrieb. Er soll verschiedene Wunder gewirkt haben und oft himmlischer Geheimnisse theilhaftig geworden sein. (Buc.
