2Adeodata, Monial. (5. Juli). Unter Gregors des Großen Briefen befinden sich etliche (besonders Ep. 54. lib. 7), die an eine gewisse Adeodata gerichtet sind. Diese Adeodata nun soll aus Spanien von vornehmen Eltern herstammen und später nach Italien gekommen sein, wo sie in den Benedictiner-Orden getreten sei. So nach Tamagus; allein die Bollandisten sind mit Letzterm nicht einverstanden, da es sich, wie sie anmerken, nicht beweisen lasse, daß sie dem Orden des hl. Benedictus angehört habe.
