B. Brocardus, (2. Sept.), der zweite General des Ordens der Karmeliter, war aus Jerusalem gebürtig und folgte dem sel. Berthold in der Regierung dieses Ordens. Vom sel. Patriarchen Albertus von Jerusalem erbat er sich eine Regel für den Orden, und erhielt sie auch um das Jahr 1214 (nach Migne irrig)229) und starb um das Jahr 1221. Sein Name steht am 2. September auch im Mart. Rom. für die beschuhten und unbeschuhten Karmeliter.
