S. Hemeterius, (3. März), ein Martyrer, welcher mit dem hl. Cheledonius (Celedonius) zu Calahorra in Spanien litt. Der Dichter Prudentius sagt, die Heiden hätten die Acten ihres Marterthums verbrannt, um sich die Beschämung ihrer Niederlage zu ersparen. Die Zeit ihres Marterthums ist unbekannt. Den Namen Hemeterius führt er bei Butler (III. 350); im Mart. Rom. heißt er Hermiterius, und bei den Bollandisten (I. 228) Emetherius (s. d.)
