Josephus Eugubinus (90)

90Josephus Eugubinus, (5. Oct. al. 11. Nov.), aus dem Orden des hl. Franciscus, benannt nach dem Orte Gubbio (Eugubium) einer Stadt im Kirchenstaate. Er starb im Jahr 1482 zu Spoleto und war nach Hub. Men. ein ausgezeichneter Ordensmann, welcher als Quardian für die klösterliche Zucht viel that. Bei den Bollandisten steht er unter den »Uebergangenen« am 5. Oct. (III. 4.)
