2Sanctia Martinez (27. Juni), war eine spanische Wittwe aus vornehmem Stande, von Montalvo, die ihr Vermögen zur Erbauung eines der hl. Elisabeth geweihten Klosters des dritten Ordens des hl. Franciscus zu Areval bei Avila verwendete, in welches sie selber eintrat und im J. 1440 im Rufe großer Frömmigkeit starb, und von Einigen als »Selige« bezeichnet wird. (V. 249 und Hueb.)
