S. Vedulphus (6. Febr.), der zweite Nachfolger des heil. Vedastus auf dem bischöflichen Stuhle von Arras und Cambrai (545–580), der um das J. 555 oder 580 (so die Gall. chr.) den Bischofssitz von Arras nach Cambrai (Cameracum) verlegte. Er muß ein würdiger Bischof gewesen sein, da er in den Verzeichnissen »heilig« genannt wird. Die Boll. nennen ihn und seinen Vorfahrer Dominicus31 unter den Uebergangenen. (I. 763.)
