SS. Cannatus et Antoninus, (15. Oct.), waren Bischöfe, wie man glaubt, zu Marseille in der Provence, von denen man jedoch mit Gewißheit Mehreres nicht weiß, als daß sie im 5. Jahrh. gestorben seyn mögen.

Canat — Nom surtout porté en Bourgogne (21). On pourrait y voir le nom de baptême Cannat (latin Cannatus), mais celui ci, popularisé par un évêque de Marseille, semble concentré en Provence. Il faut sans doute trouver une autre solution, mais je ne sais… … Noms de famille
