Gildardus, S. (2)

2S. Gildardus (Geldardus), (24. Aug.), ein Priester und Bekenner im Gebiete von Nevers zu Leurcy65 le bourg (Luperciacum) in Frankreich, wie die Bollandisten vermuthen, im 7. Jahrhundert. Er wird mit dem hl. Abt und Bekenner Patritius von Nevers am gleichen Tage zusammen genannt jedoch nur in einigen Quellen; eine solche, das Mart. Parisiense der Ausgabe von 1727, fügt außerdem bei, daß zur Zeit Karls des Dicken es eine Abtei in jener Diöcese Nevers unter dem Namen des Heiligen gab. In dieser Quelle ist auch am Rande oben gesetzes 7. Jahrhundert bemerkt. Bezüglich seines Wirkens liegt keine Notiz vor. (IV. 840.)
